Zipcar for Business is as easy as pie (charts).
Memos, buzz word bingo, water cooler chats – your job is hard enough. The last thing we're looking to do is give you another paper trail to follow, or another reason to engage with Doug from accounting. Everything about Zipcar for Business is simple. From sign up to first drive, we want to ensure that being part of the Zipcar community is better for your business.
Here is how it works:
First things first, get online.
Everything we do takes place there.Decide what type of billing suits your business:
- Direct Billed: Use one credit card for the entire account
- Individual Billed: Each member gets their own billing account (which can be billed to their personal or corporate credit card)
Complete the online application. You'll only need basic information. (It generally takes between 3 and 7 business days from start to finish.)
After you've set up your account, you'll receive an email from us detailing how to add drivers to the account. Each member of your account will apply directly through our secure server, saving you the hassle of processing their applications. Because it's all online, it's quick and paperless.
You will receive an email each time a new member joins the account. You may approve or deny the applicant based on your company's criteria for membership. (Ultimately, we must approve each driver to ensure that each applicant meets eligibility and safety standards.)
A Zipcard is mailed to each member and should arrive around the same time as the drivers' approval.
Once they have been approved (by you and us), they are ready to hit the road.
